Sociology
The Department of Sociology combines thorough grounding in social theory with rigorous training in research methods and analytical skills. Students also gain in-depth knowledge with regard to contemporary social processes and their social, economic and political factors. This combination provides students with skills which are applicable in multiple domains and professions. Career opportunities pursued by Collegium sociology graduates include roles within consulting, the media, marketing, nongovernmental organizations, academe, and other professions in which knowledge of research methods, organizations and social group dynamics is required.
